Describe a dragon and get it drawn: a fire drake on a volcano, an Eastern storm dragon in the clouds, a baby dragon hatching on a pile of gold. Use it for tabletop campaigns, stories, world-building, game concepts or a wallpaper.

How the AI dragon generator works

Your description and picks become one prompt - "an emerald dragon on mossy ruins, Western dragon, forest, misty forest, painterly" - and a text-to-image model paints it. The page asks for believable anatomy and detailed scales, so the dragon looks like it could fly.

Dragon types and elements

Western dragons have four legs and wings; Eastern dragons are long and serpentine; wyverns have two legs. The element sets colour, texture and mood - fire, ice, storm, forest, shadow, crystal or gold - and the setting tells the story around it.

Tips for a better dragon

Give it one strong detail: broken horns, a scar, glowing eyes, moss on its back. Say what it is doing - sleeping, landing, roaring at the sky. For a companion or a pet, try "Baby dragon" with the "Storybook" style.

Limits worth knowing

Images are standard resolution, not 4K. Fine details such as the exact number of horns or claws can vary. Dragons from existing films, games and books are not available, and scenes stay non-graphic.

Frequently asked questions

How do I generate a dragon with AI?+

Describe the dragon - its colour, element and where it is - pick a dragon type, element, setting and style, and press Generate. Each press gives a new dragon, so generate a few and keep your favourite.

Can it make Eastern or Chinese-style dragons?+

Yes. Pick "Eastern dragon" for a long, wingless, serpentine dragon, and try the "Ink and wash" style for a traditional painted look.

Can I use it for D&D or my book?+

Yes. Use the images as creature art for a campaign, a character's companion, story illustrations or a cover draft. Images are standard resolution, so upscale before you print anything large.

Can it add a rider or a lair?+

Yes. Mention it in your description - "a knight riding a storm dragon", "a dragon asleep on a hoard of gold" - and the image will include it.

Can it copy a dragon from a film, game or show?+

No. It makes original dragons and will not copy characters or designs from existing films, games or books. Describe the look you want instead.

Is it free?+

Yes, with no signup. When many people are generating at once you may see a short countdown before your dragon starts.
